Lerner and Rowe hosts a FREE backpack giveaway in Albuquerque on July 18, 2025. The event features backpacks filled with school supplies, face painting, a balloon artist, free ice cream, and swag for anyone who sings the Lerner and Rowe jingle.
-- Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys is excited to announce its annual indoor backpack giveaway to help support local school-aged children in Albuquerque. The community event will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the New Mexico Expo (300 San Pedro Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108). To help students gear up for the upcoming school year, the firm will be handing out 1,000 FREE backpacks filled with school supplies. Distribution begins at 4:00 p.m. and backpacks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. K-12 students must be present to receive a backpack.
To make the event even more exciting for families, there will be free entertainment, including face painters, a balloon artist, and a visit from an ice cream truck offering complimentary sweet treats while supplies last.
Plus, attendees will have the chance to show off their singing skills! Kids and adults who sing the iconic Lerner and Rowe jingle during the event will score a free swag item, because nothing says back-to-school fun like a little music and cool freebies.
For everyone’s safety, families are kindly asked to remain in their vehicles until the event begins and to be cautious of pedestrians and other vehicles when entering and exiting the parking lot, as well as when lining up at the venue.
“Back-to-school season can be stressful for families, especially when it comes to affording supplies,” said founding attorney Kevin Rowe. “That’s why, since 2021, our team has donated 4,500 backpacks to help ease that burden. It’s just one small way to show local students their education matters and that we’re here to support them.”
For 2025, Lerner and Rowe will distribute 6,700 total backpacks filled with school supplies in seven cities across the United States, including Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Bullhead City, Yuma, Phoenix, Tucson, and Chicago.
