Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC) today announced the acquisition of Tower Title, a leading national provider of telecommunications-focused title services. The acquisition strengthens Stewart’s National Commercial Services (NCS), specifically the company’s Energy & Infrastructure group, by adding a highly complementary infrastructure business that expands service capabilities, increases transaction volume and further diversifies the company's commercial portfolio.

“Tower Title is an excellent strategic fit for Stewart and an exciting step forward in our commercial growth journey,” said Fred Eppinger, Stewart CEO. “They have an impressive leadership team in place that has vision for emerging markets. Together with our established Energy & Infrastructure group, we expect to deliver a powerful differentiator, setting us up for long-term growth and success.”

Founded in 2019, Tower Title quickly became a leading national title company catering to the telecommunication industry, while also servicing solar farms, wind turbines, data centers, and billboards. They built a name for customer service through collaboration and customization, leveraging extensive energy expertise to partner with customers across the transaction lifecycle.

“The commercial energy and infrastructure sectors have exploded over recent years, and by investing in complementary businesses that enhance our customer offerings, we are creating a sought-after destination for new and existing projects across the country,” said Erin Sheckler, Group President, Stewart NCS. “Beyond the business itself, I’m excited about the leadership team from Tower continuing to drive the business under Matt Skalka’s leadership. As the Senior Vice President for our Energy & Infrastructure Group, Matt has overseen tremendous growth and adding Tower’s experienced team creates a dynamic and strategic advantage.”

“Joining Stewart marks an exciting new chapter for our company,” said Kevin Bradley, Co-Founder and CEO of Tower Title. “Stewart's reputation, resources and long-term commitment to growth make them the ideal partner for our team, customers and future. With the backing of a strong national underwriter, we will be able to build on our success while continuing to deliver the high level of service our customers expect.”

Turk & Company served as exclusive financial advisor to Tower Title in this transaction.
