Designed to make laser metalworking more accessible, X1 LITE combines multiple metalworking capabilities in a compact, portable system that works with standard household electricity and comes equipped with a standard household plug, with no modifications required.

Weighing just 14 kg, X1 LITE is designed for creators, makers, technicians, and small workshops looking for a more flexible way to weld, cut, and clean metal without the space and power requirements of larger laser systems.

X1 LITE introduces a dual-head workflow that allows users to switch between Pen Mode for detailed, precision-focused work and Torch Mode for welding, cutting, and laser cleaning.

"We wanted to break down some of the traditional barriers to laser metalworking - large equipment, complex setups, and demanding power requirements," said the Xlaserlab team. "With X1 LITE, our goal was to create a more compact and flexible system that can fit into more workspaces while giving users more ways to create, repair, and work with metal."

The Pen Mode is designed for detailed metalwork, including jewelry, thin-sheet applications, artistic fabrication, and precision repairs. Its compact pen-style design gives users greater control when working on smaller and more intricate projects.

For larger tasks, the Torch Mode combines three metalworking functions in one head: welding, cutting, and laser cleaning. X1 LITE can cut stainless steel, aluminum, and brass up to 2.5 mm, while its laser cleaning system delivers a cleaning width of up to 150 mm, allowing users to cover larger surface areas in a single pass for rust, paint, and oxidation removal.

X1 LITE also features on-torch controls that allow users to adjust key parameters during operation, helping reduce interruptions between the machine and the workpiece. An integrated wire-feeding workflow further supports continuous welding applications.

Designed around 100V-240V household-compatible power, X1 LITE is built to operate without specialized electrical infrastructure. The production version also comes standard with a household-compatible power plug, making it ready for use straight out of the box in a wide range of everyday workspaces. Combined with its 14 kg portable design, the system is well suited for home workshops, garages, maker spaces, studios, repair environments, and small-scale fabrication.
