WINNIPEG, MB: The electricians at Powertec Electric have installed hundreds of EV chargers across Winnipeg. Recently, they have installed specialized EV bus charging infrastructure for New Flyer; the team also installed EV chargers at various multi-family rental properties across the City of Winnipeg.
New Flyer was founded in Winnipeg over 95 years ago; it specializes in designing, manufacturing, and delivering transit vehicles to transit authorities and municipalities across North America. It is known for its innovative designs, having created the first low-floor bus in North America, the first diesel-electric hybrid bus, and the first battery electric bus. Powertec Electric installed robust, reliable EV charging infrastructure for the company’s electric and hybrid buses.
In addition to the work it did for New Flyer, Powertec was also contracted to install EV chargers at several multi-family residential properties across the city. In total, 250 EV chargers were installed at these properties, making EV chargers more accessible to people across Winnipeg
