Grant Hill, Senior Director of Business Development
JUPITER, Fla. – August 13, 2026 – Farm Direct Partners (FDP), one of the country's leading integrated lime suppliers, today announced the appointment of Grant Hill as Senior Director of Business Development. The appointment comes as FDP expands its core lime business and invests in the infrastructure, production and commercial leadership needed to launch year-round avocado, lemon and tropical produce programs.
The company is expanding its McAllen, Texas, warehouse operations while investing in farming and packing capabilities in Mexico and continuing its agricultural development in Colombia. Together, these investments will increase FDP's ability to offer larger volumes from Mexico while coordinating complementary supply programs from Colombia and Peru.
With integrated capabilities spanning farming, multi-origin sourcing, packing, packaging, food safety, warehousing and distribution, FDP has built its business around providing large customers with consistent lime supply and dependable execution. The company is now extending that proven operating model into additional produce categories.
Hill will lead strategic business development and help expand FDP's relationships with national and regional retail, club, foodservice and wholesale customers. Working across sales, procurement, operations and logistics, he will develop programs around each customer's volume, specifications, packaging, distribution and performance requirements.
"Grant brings a rare combination of customer insight, disciplined sales leadership and hands-on produce experience," said Dax Cooke, founder and CEO of Farm Direct Partners. "He understands how to connect origin capabilities with customer requirements and align sales, procurement, operations and logistics around a single program. His appointment comes at an important time as we continue growing our lime business and launch year-round avocado, lemon and tropical produce programs."
Hill brings more than 15 years of experience in sales leadership, national account development and strategic program growth. During his tenure with US Foods and Amerifresh, he held senior leadership roles across national sales, business development and sales operations. He worked with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to develop scalable retail and foodservice programs, improve forecasting and execution, and align sourcing and operational capabilities with evolving customer requirements.
"Farm Direct Partners is building a differentiated platform by connecting origin intelligence with disciplined customer execution," Hill said. "The company's investments in Texas and Mexico, combined with its established supply programs from Colombia and Peru, give us the ability to build larger, more dependable programs across limes, avocados, lemons and tropical produce. I am excited to help bring these capabilities to the market."
BUILDING GREATER SUPPLY SECURITY
FDP's expanded McAllen operation will serve as a critical gateway for produce entering the United States from Mexico and South America. The additional capacity will support higher volumes, cold storage, quality control, repacking, bagging and regional distribution.
In Mexico, FDP is investing in farming and packing capabilities that will increase available volume and provide greater control over harvest timing, quality, food safety, customer specifications and shipping schedules. Mexico's proximity to the Texas operation will allow product to move efficiently from farms and packing facilities into FDP's U.S. distribution network.
Mexican production will complement FDP's established programs from Colombia and Peru. By coordinating multiple origins and seasonal transitions, the company can reduce dependence on any single growing region and provide customers with greater supply security throughout the year.
"This expansion is not simply about moving more product," Cooke said. "It is about building stronger produce programs. By combining increased farming and packing capacity in Mexico with supply from Colombia and Peru—and positioning that product through our expanded Texas operation—we can offer greater volume, more flexibility and a more resilient year-round supply strategy."
EXPANDING BEYOND LIMES
Limes will remain at the center of Farm Direct Partners' business. The company continues to expand its lime supply, packaging and distribution capabilities to support growing retail, club, foodservice and wholesale demand.
Building on that foundation, FDP is launching year-round avocado, lemon and tropical produce programs. Each offering will combine multi-origin sourcing, seasonal planning, customer-specific packaging, food-safety oversight and coordinated logistics.
Rather than approaching produce as a series of individual transactions, FDP builds programs around customer demand, quality standards, packaging requirements and economics. This approach allows the company to adjust its origin mix as production cycles and market conditions change, helping customers maintain volume, quality and performance throughout the year.
