NEW YORK - July 30, 2026 - With new hires, Morrow Ni LLP is expanding its international arbitration practice for Chinese individuals and companies involved in cross-border disputes, drawing on the experience of co-founder Angus Ni in complex commercial arbitration and transnational litigation.
The New York litigation firm focuses on cross-border commercial disputes. Attornies Angus Ni and Xinlin Li Morrow, co-founders of Morrow Ni LLP, brings experience arbitrating complex commercial disputes in every major international arbitral forum in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, including AAA (US), JAMS (US), FINRA (US), SIAC (Singapore), HKIAC (Hong Kong), ICC, and ICSID (Europe).
In one recent FINRA arbitration involving claims brought by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, the Morrow Ni LLP trial team defeated fraud claims against a China-based short seller seeking more than $6.4 million for a debit incurred following the close-out of a short position in a Hong Kong IPO stock. Following a six-day evidentiary hearing, the panel denied the fraud claims in full, limited the client’s exposure to $279,250, and ordered each side to bear its own attorneys’ fees.
Morrow Ni LLP was built to serve Chinese individuals and companies engaged in disputes within U.S. and other English-speaking legal systems. Through Morrow Ni LLP, Mr. Ni, Ms. Morrow, and their colleagues help clients navigate complex matters requiring detailed record development, fluent bilingual communication, and extensive arbitration experience.
