WINNIPEG, MB - STAR Building Materials, a Winnipeg building materials company, was nominated for three different awards at the Forge & Form Awards: Innovating in Merchandising and Store Layout, Excellence in Customer Experience, and the Technology Trailblazer Award. They won the Technology Trailblazer Award. 

Forge & Form is a gala created by Supply-Build Canada in honour of its 135th anniversary. With approximately 1200 member firms, Supply-Build Canada (formerly the Western Retail Lumber Association) represents the interests of Western Canadian companies in the lumber and building materials industry. The Forge & Form gala was created to recognize member organizations that have demonstrated excellence across four broad categories: Dealer Recognition, Vendor Recognition, Cross-Industry Excellence, and Best New Products of 2025. 

The gala was held at Fairmont Banff Springs on October 22nd, 2025, immediately following the 2025 Hardlines Conference, which was hosted in the same location.
