Former Bell Labs Venture Executive and Technology Investor Joins PHY Wireless as Company Accelerates Carrier Engagements, Customer Deployments, and Massive IoT Commercialization

PHY Wireless, a pioneer in edge-based cellular positioning technology for massive IoT and next-generation 5G SA & 6G wireless networks, today announced the appointment of wireless industry veteran Andrew Garman as a Strategic Advisor.

Garman joins PHY Wireless as the company expands customer engagements, carrier discussions, and commercialization efforts around its hellaPHY^® platform / software-defined location solution, which enables scalable, secure, energy-efficient cellular geolocation directly on the device without cloud-based positioning.

Previously, he led venture initiatives at Bell Labs, Xerox PARC, and Bankers Trust and has served on more than 30 technology company boards.
