WellSky® Deepens Partnership With Adoration Home Health to Scale Clinical Coding Advisory Services

Expanded engagement builds on quality improvements at Adoration and new AI-powered WellSky innovations designed to support complex home-based care organizations

WellSky, a global health and community care technology and services company, today announced an expansion of its partnership with Adoration Home Health, a nationwide quality and compassionate provider for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need. WellSky will extend its clinical coding and documentation advisory services to additional Adoration locations, further strengthening the organizations’ existing post-acute care technology and services partnership.

Adoration is an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, which delivers services in all 50 states and serves more than 400,000 patients daily through a nationwide network of providers serving complex populations. At this scale, and amid rising demand for home-based care, accurate and complete clinical documentation is essential to protect reimbursement and performance in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) quality programs, including its Home Health Star Ratings.

Since beginning its coding partnership with WellSky in 2023, Adoration has seen a significant improvement in its CMS Home Health Star Ratings. Adoration Home Health locations achieving a star rating of 4 or higher has increased significantly from 21.7% in 2023 and, based on preview reports, is projected to reach 90% of locations in 2026 — a gain of nearly 70 percentage points. With home health Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) documentation influencing six of the seven quality measures used in the Star Ratings methodology, these results reflect the dedicated, joint effort between Adoration and WellSky to optimize and strengthen clinical documentation practices.

“Our continued expansion across home health requires a scalable operational foundation that supports quality, compliance, and consistency,” said Elizabeth Robinson, RN, MSN, president of Adoration Home Health. “The growing partnership with WellSky reflects the trust we place in their coding and advisory services group to continue helping us achieve high-quality outcomes while also understanding the complexity of our operations and the unique patient communities we serve.”

WellSky continues to enhance the technology platforms that anchor its services solutions by embedding workflow intelligence through WellSky SkySense AI. Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered coding, billing, and accounts receivable workflows are reshaping how WellSky delivers its advisory and outsourced services for its post-acute care clients, which include many of the largest home health organizations in the U.S., as well as hundreds of post-acute providers of all sizes across all electronic health record (EHR) platforms.

“The majority of the nation’s largest home health providers trust WellSky to support critical coding and revenue cycle workflows that directly influence quality reporting and reimbursement,” said Bill Miller, chairman and CEO of WellSky. “Our expanded partnership with BrightSpring reflects a shared commitment to accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. WellSky is focused on helping our clients scale responsibly with AI-enhanced services that support their continuous growth and help drive high quality performance within complex value-based care environments.”
