Paula Hunter's remarkable career spans nearly three decades, during which she has played a pivotal role in leading industry advocacy groups, open source organizations, and standards associations. As the Executive Director of the Mojaloop Foundation, Hunter has been at the forefront of driving financial inclusion through the open source Mojaloop software initiative, which aims to extend affordable financial services to underserved populations worldwide. Under her leadership, the foundation has become a central force in promoting open source solutions for inclusive financial systems.

In addition to her work with Mojaloop, Hunter serves on the Board of Directors of the Digital Federal Credit Union and the Global Advisory Council of the Alliance for Innovative Regulation (AIR). She also is Vice-Chair of the Monadnock Community Hospital Board of Trustees. A frequent speaker at major technology and open source conferences, Hunter is a recognized thought leader in both financial inclusion and the broader technology community.
