Ten Nosebleed Stakes events will span five playing days, with full-hole-card final-table replays.

SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / September 9, 2026 / Americas Cardroom today announced the return of its highest-stakes tournament concept, with Second Mortgage Week scheduled for September 21-28 during the $50 million+ OSS XL series.

The five-day program comprises 10 Nosebleed Stakes events, with two tournaments on each playing day. Buy-ins range from $5,200 to $25,500, and the schedule includes No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha in both 6-max and 8-max formats.

Sunday, September 27, carries the largest buy-in of the week: a $25,500 NLH 8-Max. Second Mortgage Week ends Monday, September 28, with a $15,400 NLH 8-Max and a $5,200 NLH 6-Max R/A event.

The September 27 schedule also places the high-stakes event inside a major OSS XL tournament day. Day 1B of the $2.5 million guaranteed $2,650 Main Event and the $2 million guaranteed $1,050 Main Event will be underway, while the $500,000 guaranteed Main Event with a $66 buy-in moves to Day 2.

Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker said the Nosebleed Stakes format combines elite competition with a viewing opportunity that extends beyond the live events.

OSS XL runs September 6-29 with 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees. In addition to its tournament schedule, the series includes more than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets distributed through three leaderboard levels.
