About Davon Williams
Davon recently graduated from Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School in Nashville and is a freshman at Middle Tennessee State University. He was granted Honors Admission based on his academic credentials, which include a 32 on the ACT, completion of nine Advanced Placement courses, and a 4.35 weighted GPA. Davon was consistently named to his high school's Principal's Honor Roll and participated in Tennessee State University's All-Star Mathematics Institute for three years. He also volunteered with Second Harvest Food Bank and participated in service activities through his church youth group.
About the Max McElhaney Memorial Educational Scholarship
Rocky McElhaney Law Firm awards the Max McElhaney Memorial Educational Scholarship, a $3,000 award, to an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited four-year university or college. Applicants submit materials highlighting the Gold Standard of Love in their family, their qualifications, and what sets them apart, along with a faculty or advisor recommendation and proof of enrollment.
