-- The White Bluff Property Owners Association (WBPOA) is pleased to announce that a final settlement has been reached in the long-standing Walkinshaw litigation. This marks the end of a chapter that has been ongoing for several years and allows the White Bluff community to move forward with clarity and renewed focus.
Jeff Williams, President of the WBPOA, shared the following statement:
"I am pleased to inform the property owners that a final settlement has been reached in the Walkinshaw litigation, and that the case will be dismissed in its entirety. I am also happy to report that the WBPOA will pay approximately $60,000 in new funds, with the remaining balance being paid from money held in the Court registry for many years. These registry funds were never reflected on our books, so this portion of the settlement will not impact our financial statements."
As attorneys complete a few remaining administrative items required by the terms of the agreement, the official dismissal of the case will soon follow.
“This is fantastic news that will, at long last, put this matter behind us,” said Williams. “We thank our community for their patience and support throughout this process.”
