The smart #5, which recently won the Red Dot Design Award for Product Design, offers more space, versatility, and innovative technology than ever before. It is powered by an 800-Volt platform, enabling significantly extended range and fast charging capabilities. In addition to its up-to-date electric drive, the smart #5 features advanced driver assistance systems and an intelligent cockpit, setting new standards in ease of use and convenience for all passengers. With its spacious interior and features for flexibility in use in all its available lines, the latest addition to the smart product portfolio is designed to meet the diverse needs of customers.

Cultural Innovation meets Design: A collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation
Another highlight of smart’s presence at this year’s IAA Mobility is the collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation, which is dedicated to making art accessible to everyone. The exclusive Keith Haring Art Car, on display at the IAA Mobility Summit, acts as a sculptural centerpiece and embodies the joint philosophy of an “intelligent use of space”. The collaboration is also tangible at the Open Space under the theme “Celebrate the Streets”, where elements of the Keith Haring legacy are woven into smart’s lifestyle experience.

Diverse program and insights for visitors at Summit and Open Space
smart’s versatile product portfolio blends intelligent premium engineering with artistic expression. At this year’s IAA Mobility, the full line-up is on display. The smart #5 BRABUS and Keith Haring Art Car will be presented at the Summit in the exhibition center in Munich. smart’s press conference will take place on September 8 at 10 a.m. at the smart booth (B01, Hall B2).
At the Open Space at the Odeonsplatz in Munich, the brand will showcase the smart #5 Premium, smart #5 Summit Edition and smart #1 BRABUS. Interactive offerings include an art studio for customizing accessories, a photo booth, and a playful and creative offering for families and children as part of the official IAA Family Trail ensure a varied program.
