Appointment follows 14 months as Keyron Director and Head of Regulatory Affairs and represents a major strengthening of Board leadership as ForePass^® advances toward first-in-human clinical development and the U.S. FDA pathway

Keyron, developer of the ForePass^® fully reversible metabolic bypass platform for severe metabolic disease, today announced that David Feigal, MD, was appointed Board Chair effective September 21, 2026.

Dr Feigal will continue to lead Keyron’s regulatory strategy alongside his new role as Board Chair.

He is the former Director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), which regulates medical devices in the United States. He led CDRH for five years during a 12-year FDA career spanning senior leadership across devices, biologics and drugs.

After the FDA, Dr Feigal held senior global regulatory leadership roles at Amgen and Elan Pharmaceuticals and became a Founding Partner of NDA Partners, advising medical-device and biopharmaceutical companies on clinical development and regulatory strategy. He earned his MD from Stanford University and MPH from the University of California, Berkeley.
