The podcast, “Money and Wealth with John Hope Bryant” is regularly in the top 100 of all business and finance podcasts
In honor of National Black Business Month, Operation HOPE has joined forces with iHeartMedia to launch From Hustle to Holdings: A Black Wealth Blueprint, a nationwide campaign designed to inspire, educate, and empower Black entrepreneurs. Spotlighting Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman, and CEO John Hope Bryant and his acclaimed Money & Wealth podcast, the initiative aims to equip small business owners, side hustlers, and aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools to turn ambition into lasting generational wealth.
“Economic empowerment isn’t just about making money, it’s about making money work for you,” said Bryant. “When we turn our hustle into holdings, we create a foundation for generational wealth that transforms families and communities.”
The campaign, running throughout August, includes a four-week content series on Money & Wealth called The Wealth Work, each week focusing on a key pillar of wealth-building:
- Week 1 – The Foundation: Building credit, financial literacy, and the right mindset.
- Week 2 – The Hustle: Turning skills and passions into sustainable income streams.
- Week 3 – The Strategy: Saving, investing, and scaling a business.
- Week 4 – The Legacy: Estate planning, ownership, and passing down assets.
In addition to full-length podcast episodes, the campaign will feature “1-Minute Money Moves” tips, interactive “Ask John” Q&A sessions on Instagram Stories and LinkedIn, and short, actionable insights designed for quick learning and easy application.
While National Black Business Month is a time to celebrate progress, it’s also a reminder of persistent challenges. According to the Federal Reserve, the median wealth of Black households is roughly one-tenth that of white households. Initiatives like From Hustle to Holdings work to close this gap by pairing high-impact financial education with the broad reach of iHeartMedia.

- Engage: Submit questions through the “Ask John” feature on Instagram Stories and LinkedIn.

“We can’t just wish for a better future, we have to work for it,” Bryant added. “This Black Business Month, let’s work together to ensure hustle turns into holdings, and ambition turns into generational impact.”
