Nashville Singer-Songwriter Brett Koolik Dropping Debut EP And Headlining the 'Culdesac and Camp Tour' This Summer

NASHVILLE, TN / ACCESSWIRE / April 25, 2022 / Vanderbilt University alum and Nashville triple-threat singer/songwriter/producer Brett Koolik will be dropping the first single off his debut EP, ‘Paradise Valley Fault Line' on May 13th, and will follow with his first U.S. tour this Summer 2022.

The South Florida-born artist studied biomedical engineering at Nashville's prestigious Vanderbilt University before pursuing his passion for music as a part of Vanderbilt's ultra-competitive Media Immersion program. In the vein of Jack Antonoff and Jon Bellion, Koolik is a multi-talented artist who has produced with industry heavyweights, including current collaborator, producer and engineer Nick Lobel.

Koolik's upcoming single, ‘Paradise Valley Fault Line' was inspired by his self-reflective time in Montana. "I had just got out of a relationship and went to stay with a friend in a home in Montana that was built on a fault line. The cracks in the home's foundation to me symbolized the cracks in a relationship," the singer explained. "You can think you're in a good relationship, but you're actually building a foundation on a fault line."

The Nashville-based artist's heartfelt storytelling and sophisticated melodies define his orchestral pop sound, which he creates as a passion and a meditative means to calm his mind.

"I have ADHD and it's sometimes hard for me to focus on things - but with music, I get lost in it," explains Koolik. "There is an analytical component to audio engineering which I think is so cool. From the kick drum, to the snare and synthesizers, I love when everything comes together to make that final perfect sound."

The 22 year-old artist will be headlining his first tour this summer with the ‘Culdesac and Camp Tour,' which will roll up into summer camps and neighborhood culdesacs in the Southern, Northeast and Midwest regions across the U.S. beginning in June 2022.
