Americas Cardroom's OSS XL kicked off Sept. 6 with massive prize pools, led by BADGERING's $130k High Roller win. The series runs through Sept. 29.
-- Americas Cardroom opened its Online Super Series XL on Sept. 6 with a $670,800 prize pool in OSS XL #13, the $600,000 GTD High Roller. The $630 buy-in event drew 1,118 entries and paid winner BADGERING $130,209.51.
Another opening-day highlight came in OSS XL #16, where 203 entries pushed the $2,650 buy-in, $500,000 GTD tournament to $507,500. A final-table deal was made and NewYorkMidgets finished first for $95,311.68. The $109 Moneymaker drew 3,373 entries and paid WilliamRed $62,933.20, while lukewarmwater won $10,952.96 in the $16.50 Sunday Splash after 4,752 entries.
Six highlighted Sept. 6 events accounted for $1,803,300 in prize pools and 9,689 entries. The series continues through Sept. 29 with 336 events and more than $50 million guaranteed, including three Main Events with $5 million combined GTD, four major multi-flights, 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments and more than $60,000 in added leaderboard cash and tournament tickets. The Main Events carry $2.5 million GTD at $2,650, $2 million GTD at $1,050 and $500,000 GTD at $66.
The four featured multi-flights combine for $2.225 million GTD, led by a $1.5 million GTD $630 Main Multi-Flight. Nosebleed Stakes run Sept. 21-28 with 10 tournaments carrying buy-ins from $5,000 to $25,000.
OSS XL is running alongside Americas Cardroom's $2.5 million GTD 25th Anniversary Tournament, a $250 cumulative-stack event also ending Sept. 29. A 50% Reload Bonus up to $500 is available through Sept. 10 on qualifying reloads of at least $25 with code HUGE.
PLO and Mystery Bounty formats also run throughout the series.
