“The idea for the project came to me when I had to spend a long time searching for suitable specialists who could provide me with a service. For example, a doctor or a car repair specialist. To find a new person, I always had to use internet searches, social media, and ask friends for recommendations,” says founder and CEO Vladyslav Dimov on the inspiration behind the project. “I thought, why not create a platform that gathers all services from all industries? So that anyone could come in and find exactly what they need, exactly where they need it, read reviews, and check ratings. This would greatly simplify the search process, and there would be no need to go through this process again and again.”
CoreList is a one-stop shop for users and service providers alike to connect. Users can utilize a map location feature to find what’s near, read reviews of service providers, and even see price and service listing menus. Professionals can create their service pages, indicate their location, and potential clients will find them; as the search for services is based on location, making the CoreList audience the target market for finding new clientele. CoreList is not just a social network or freelance exchange. it is a specialized platform where users worldwide want to personally receive or provide a service.
“We are the first platform of its kind. Yes, one could argue that freelance marketplaces exist, but that’s not the same. Freelance marketplaces are focused on providing remote services. You can find a programmer, say, in India, while you're in the U.S. But this won’t work for in-person services. After all, to get a haircut, you need to search only for services that are near you, only those services that have a physical location. This is the niche that CoreList fills,” adds Dimov.
