Kenneth “Stoney” Timberlake is a Vietnam-era U.S. Navy veteran whose life experiences inspired Wild One. Raised in New Jersey, he developed an early love for horses, motorcycles, and outdoor life before serving aboard the USS Blandy during the Vietnam War. Over the years, he accumulated a wealth of stories shaped by military service, travel, friendship, hardship, and adventure. Encouraged to preserve those memories, Kenneth “Stoney” Timberlake wrote Wild One as a personal account of the people, places, and events that left a lasting impact on his life.
