“I have always loved Halloween and wanted to create a children’s story with a strong moral and friendly Halloween characters,” relayed Dana Ginnett. “The idea for Wanda came to me quickly, and once I started writing, I could not stop. This book has been a true labor of love, finally brought to life 20 years later with illustrations that make the story shine.”

Dana Ginnett lives in the Midwest with her family, where love and laughter are always close by. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, their children Izzy and Owen, and their pets Echo and Pepper. When she’s not writing, she loves traveling and making meaningful memories with her family. This is her first children’s book, originally written 20 years ago and inspired by her lifelong love of Halloween.
