Los Angeles, CA - October 14, 2026 - Polish dancer, choreographer, and educator Mehow Hendzel continues to share his extensive commercial experience as a regular faculty member at Los Angeles’ iconic Millennium Dance Complex. Teaching weekly hip-hop choreography at the studio since 2022, Hendzel brings the pace and energy of the professional stage into classes shaped by two decades of global performance experience, with sessions regularly filling with dancers from around the world.

Many of these students come from different backgrounds, with some traveling to Los Angeles specifically to train at the renowned commercial dance studio. Hendzel’s classes focus on choreography, musicality, performance, movement quality, and the kind of versatility needed in today’s commercial dance industry.
That training is closely tied to Hendzel’s own work as an active performer, giving students a chance to learn from someone who continues to work on international stages.
Hendzel is currently touring with Puerto Rican artist Chayanne as part of the Bailemos Otra Vez tour, which has taken him across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. He brings that current touring experience back into the studio, sharing practical lessons from rehearsals, live shows, commercial sets, and large-scale productions. Hendzel helps dancers work on everything from picking up choreography quickly to building stronger stage presence and versatility.
“My classes are about more than learning steps,” said Hendzel. “I want dancers to understand how to perform, how to connect with the music, and how to bring their own personality into the choreography. Seeing people come from different countries to train together makes the room even more exciting.”

His teaching career has also taken him beyond Los Angeles. After beginning his professional dance journey in Poland, Hendzel went on to teach workshops across Europe, including in Paris and London, while continuing to perform internationally.
“I’ve been a student in rooms all over the world, so I know how valuable it is to train with different people and different approaches,” said Hendzel. “When dancers come to my class from different countries, I want them to leave with something they can actually use in their own training and professional work.”
Along with his current work with Chayanne, Hendzel has appeared in projects involving Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Marshmello, Cara Delevingne, and photographer and director David LaChapelle. His commercial and choreography credits also include work connected with Apple, Sony, Puma, Balmain, Panasonic, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Mazda, and other international brands.
Hendzel has taught thousands of dancers over the course of his career and continues to split his time between performing and educating. His regular classes at Millennium give him a space to pass on what he is learning from current professional work while helping students develop stronger performance habits of their own.
Rather than separating the classroom and the stage, Hendzel uses both sides of his career to keep his classes current, practical, and closely connected to the demands of the industry.
