Whether through conversations, projects, or tireless dedication, Angela inspires others to go beyond their limits. Her energy is contagious – she knows how to spark confidence and motivation, even in the most challenging situations.

Yet, she is far from naive. She knows setbacks, resistance, and the struggle of confronting overwhelming structures. And that’s exactly what makes her journey so extraordinary: she never stands still. "Looking away is not an option. Only those who act can make a difference."

For Angela, commitment is not just about words – it’s about consistent, meaningful action. She firmly believes that anyone can be part of a movement that brings hope, builds trust, and drives real change.

Taking Responsibility When No One Else Will

Her most intense work took her to Bulgaria, to a place where more than 150 farm animals had been abandoned. The village, originally a self-sufficiency project, collapsed under human indifference. When the sponsor could no longer provide support, people left – and suddenly, she was alone. Alone with animals who desperately needed help.

Where others would have given up, she fought. She sold everything possible – belongings, materials, old machines, and equipment – piece by piece. Ultimately, she even found homes for the animals themselves, not to ease her own burden, but to ensure their safety. Each step was a sacrifice, yet also a profound act of love.

As if that weren’t enough, more and more stray animals found their way to the village. In just a year and a half, she cared for 25 dogs – many found loving homes, and some remain by her side to this day. Against all odds, despite all difficulties.

Leaving Bulgaria and searching for a new home – for herself and the animals – was a challenge that demanded almost superhuman strength. And yet, for her, one thing is clear: it was worth it. Every effort, every sleepless night, every struggle.
