CREMONA, AB: On 150 acres of land in Cremona, Alberta, there sits an off-grid bunker house that was built on an ATCO trailer. This house was recently painted by the team at Pristine Painting.
The project presented a number of challenges, all of which the Pristine Painting & Decorating team overcame successfully. The Pristine team had to drive its equipment to a remote location around 1 hour outside of Calgary. The building also featured a sloped ceiling, which needed to be painted with two spray machines for consistency, allowing the team to paint it in one continuous movement.
The solar panel-powered bunker house will feature bedrooms, washrooms, a living room, a mud room, and a kitchen.
ATCO offers modular buildings; trailers are moved onto the site, set up, and then finished. This project is an ATCO modular building that the owners asked the team at Pristine Painting to paint in order to create a beautiful multi-room accommodation in the rugged wilderness of Alberta.
