800.com today launched a Calendly integration that lets 800 AI Agents, the company’s AI receptionist, book appointments while the caller is still on the phone. The integration is available on all 800.com plans with 800 AI Agents enabled and is built for any business who loses bookings, jobs or appointments to missed and after-hours calls.

How the integration works

Businesses connect Calendly to 800.com and choose the event type their 800 AI Agent will use. During the call, the agent checks Calendly for open times and books the slot the caller chooses. Bookings follow that event type’s existing rules, including appointment length and minimum notice, so there is nothing to re-create for phone bookings. Appointments appear on the calendar connected to Calendly, and Calendly sends confirmations and reminders based on the business’s current settings.

Businesses can forward missed calls to an 800 AI Agent while keeping the number their customers already know. The integration adds appointment booking to 800.com’s call routing and call tracking, so every call a business pays to generate has a path to a booked appointment.
