Connor Brach, associate director, AM Best, will lead a session, titled, “US Property/Casualty Benchmarking: A Detailed Look at How Different Building Block Assessments Interact For Typical Rating Levels,” during which he will discuss the statistical distribution of the main building block assessments behind AM Best’s ratings – balance sheet strength, operating performance, business profile and enterprise risk management. The session also will cover how these building blocks typically intersect in the rating process, as well as the most important drivers that most commonly lead to positive or negative rating actions.
