Leadership transition positions the firm for continued growth in workforce and affordable housing investments

Ellavoz Impact Capital, LLC (EIC), a social impact investor, advisor, asset manager, and real estate developer focused on creating and preserving workforce and affordable housing, has named Jeffrey Crum as Chief Executive Officer. This role will be in addition to his role as president. Robert Hutchins, who founded EIC and served as its CEO, will transition to the role of Chairman, where he will continue to guide the firm's strategic direction and support its network of investors, partners, and community stakeholders.

Jeffrey Crum joined EIC as Chief Operating Officer in 2024, bringing nearly two decades of community development and affordable housing experience to the firm. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in growing EIC's impact investment portfolio and deepening its partnerships with community development financial institutions and nonprofit housing organizations.

Prior to EIC, Mr. Crum spent more than a decade with New Jersey Community Capital, where he served as Chief Investment Officer and led its real estate affiliate, Community Asset Preservation Corporation (CAPC), overseeing the building and renovation of nearly 2,500 housing units across multiple states.

"It has been a privilege to build Ellavoz Impact Capital into a firm that delivers real, measurable impact alongside competitive returns for our investors," said Robert Hutchins, Chairman of Ellavoz Impact Capital. "Jeff has been an indispensable partner since the day he joined our team, and there is no one I trust more to lead EIC into its next chapter. I look forward to continuing to support the firm and its mission as Chairman."

"I'm honored to take on this role and to build on the foundation Robert has created," said Jeffrey Crum, CEO of Ellavoz Impact Capital. "Ellavoz has established itself as a leader in impact investing focused on workforce and affordable housing, and I'm committed to continuing to grow our portfolio, deepen our partnerships with nonprofits and community development institutions, and expand our reach nationally. Robert's vision will remain central to our work, and I'm grateful for his continued leadership as Chairman."
