“Sustaining a great culture is one of our strategic objectives at Pathward, and we believe that creating an environment where people feel they can perform their best leads to better outcomes across the organization,” said Pathward’s Executive Vice President and Chief People and Culture Officer Anjana Berde. “We are honored to be recognized as a standout employer by U.S. News which, along with our Great Place To Work® Certification™, reflect on our commitment to creating connection and a positive work environment for our people.”

Pathward prioritizes connection, which includes virtual and in-person opportunities for employees to build bonds with teammates and others throughout the organization. Strong internal communications, a Culture Connections program and employee resource groups are a few ways Pathward fosters engagement and a sense of belonging. Another key element of Pathward’s workplace culture is encouraging employees to contribute to causes that are important to them through the paid time off and other benefits eligible employees receive under Pathward’s Community Impact Program. A cornerstone of Pathward’s people strategy is investing in career growth, through structured development programs and meaningful internal mobility opportunities that enable employees to expand their skills and advance their careers within the organization.

U.S. News’ recognition comes just a few months after Pathward achieved Great Place To Work® Certification™ for the fourth consecutive year with 88% of employees surveyed saying Pathward is a Great Place To Work – 31 points higher than the typical U.S. company.

According to U.S. News, its ratings consider several universally desired factors that can contribute to a good workplace: quality of pay and benefits, work-life balance and flexibility, job and company stability, physical and psychological comfort, belongingness and esteem, and career opportunities and professional development.

To calculate the U.S. News Best Companies to Work For ratings, U.S. News considered the largest by market cap 5,000 publicly traded companies that had at least 75 Glassdoor reviews. Relevant data, including employee sentiment and regulatory enforcement data, was gathered from partners Revelio Labs, Good Jobs First and QUODD to calculate the six metrics used in the list.
