Recognition highlights Gupta’s 22+ years of driving innovation, advancing member-first banking, and strengthening communities across Silicon Valley

Star One Credit Union today announced that its president and CEO, Minal Gupta, has been recognized as a 2026 Women of Influence honoree by Silicon Valley Business Journal, recognizing her leadership, industry impact and commitment to the community.

The Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Women of Influence awards, launched in 2005, is one of the publication’s longest-running honors programs, spotlighting women whose leadership shapes the region’s economy and communities. Over the past two decades, more than 1,500 women have been recognized for their professional achievements and civic contributions. The 2026 class continues this legacy, highlighting leaders across technology, finance, health care, education and nonprofit sectors.

“I am honored to be recognized among such an inspiring group of leaders,” said Minal Gupta, president & CEO, Star One Credit Union. “This award reflects the collective efforts of our entire team and our shared commitment to putting people over profits and strengthening the financial well-being of our members and community.”

Gupta joined Star One Credit Union in 2019 and advanced through key leadership roles, including vice president of remote services, senior vice president of operations, executive vice president and president, before being named CEO. Over her career, she has played a pivotal role in launching and scaling innovative payment solutions, including Zelle, Same Day ACH and FedNow, helping modernize how consumers and businesses move money.

“Minal’s recognition as a Woman of Influence is a testament to her vision, dedication and deep commitment to our members and community,” said Melissa Henck, Board Chair of Star One Credit Union. “She exemplifies the leadership and purpose this award celebrates.”

Under Gupta’s leadership, Star One Credit Union continues to serve over 130,000 members across the South Bay, managing over $9.3 billion in assets and advancing innovative payment solutions and member-focused financial systems. She joins an accomplished group of honorees that includes executives, entrepreneurs and community leaders from across Silicon Valley.

The 2026 Women of Influence honorees will be recognized at an awards event on June 24, 2026.
