Partners dormakaba and Ones Technology highlight latest deployments powered by RealSense technology, increasing facial authentication performance
RealSense, the leader in biometrics for access control, today announced it will showcase its new RealSense™ ID Pro solution at ISC West, Booth #20137 in the Digital Trust and Identity Pavilion. ISC West, the premier U.S. security trade event, takes place March 23–27 in Las Vegas.
ID Pro builds on the award-winning F450 to deliver a decisive leap in facial authentication toward intent-aware access control. Systems no longer just recognize who someone is but can now be situationally aware.
"This will be a breakout year for biometrics in access control, and RealSense is uniquely positioned to lead it," said Nadav Orbach, CEO of RealSense. "ID Pro gives our partners uncompromising performance, privacy and flexibility to deploy advanced biometric access control at scale, with no trade-offs."
Demonstrating Ecosystem Momentum at ISC West
Industry leaders partnering with RealSense include:
- dormakaba (Booth 20007): The global access control provider is planning next-generation intelligent access control solutions, integrating vision-based AI directly into doors and entry systems, enabling smarter, more secure buildings.
- Ones Technology (Booth 21136): The designer and manufacturer of advanced access hardware, biometric and software-based security solutions will introduce Vision 2, an advanced access control platform built on RealSense ID Pro.
Performance That Sets the Bar
ID Pro delivers what no other vision technology provider does in a single, compact, production-ready device, providing person identification beyond the face:
- 99.77% biometric accuracy, across diverse populations, NIST-verified in its latest 1:1 FRVT testing
- Authentication in under 250ms
- 10,000 faceprints supported on a single device
- Privacy-first architecture with zero storage or transmission of personally identifiable information
- API-driven integration for drop-in deployment with no custom hardware, calibration or tuning
- High performance at an accessible price point, lowering barriers to adoption
- Employs trusted datasets, training and responsible AI and ML policies
RealSense also confirmed it has achieved iBeta Level 2 Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) compliance to the ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard. The rigorous evaluation verifies that biometric systems can defend against sophisticated spoofing attempts, including 3D masks, deepfakes and high-quality printed photos. RealSense passed the compliance testing on its first attempt, an uncommon achievement that demonstrates the strength of its anti-spoofing architecture and positions the company to pursue the even more demanding Level 3 testing.
Built for Scale
Biometrics is already reshaping security at scale. Since 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has intercepted more than 2,200 imposters using biometric systems. Studies show users prefer biometrics over passwords 2:1, while 85% of travelers report satisfaction with biometric-based processes.
RealSense is accelerating that momentum. Following its transition to an independent company and 50% year-over-year growth, the company is expanding across access control, commerce, loyalty, time and attendance and critical infrastructure.
“RealSense is the world leader in intelligent vision systems, delivering the Visual Cortex for Physical AI,” said Orbach. “Our mission is to enable a smarter and safer world where machines can see, reason and act responsibly. Our approach to biometrics mirrors our approach to computer vision. We integrate privacy and ethical standards into everything we produce, resulting in one of the most trusted platforms in the world for biometric access control.”
"Integrating advanced vision-based biometrics into building infrastructure unlocks a new generation of secure, intelligent access," said David Fuller, chief innovation officer of dormakaba. "Our collaboration with RealSense accelerates that future."
"Vision 2 combines advanced biometrics with practical deployment at scale," said Onur Sirmatel, CEO of Ones Technology. "RealSense ID Pro provides the performance foundation we need."
