Greenflash Launches Energy-Ready Infrastructure for Data Center Growth in Texas

Energy-ready infrastructure speeds SB6-compliant growth across the ERCOT market.

Greenflash today introduced a turnkey infrastructure solution that accelerates “time-to-power” for large-load data centers under ERCOT SB6.

Built by a team with decades of experience developing and operating grid-scale power and storage assets across ERCOT and other global markets, Greenflash combines deep market expertise with proven design, finance, and operational capabilities to deliver SB6-compliant, energy-integrated infrastructure at scale.

As power demand surges, new ERCOT reliability standards under SB6 are reshaping data-center design. With 15 years of microgrid experience across defense, energy, and utilities, Greenflash integrates behind-the-meter battery storage and advanced power controls to deliver reliability, power quality, and grid resiliency.

“Our team has designed, built, and operated over 1 GW of battery systems across Texas, with projects that maintained 100 percent uptime during Winter Storm Uri,” said Managing Partner Josh Prueher. “We handle design, finance, construction, and compliance – freeing developers and operators to focus on their core business and reach commercial operation faster.”

Standardized Design and Construction

Each data-center shell incorporates pre-approved protection schemes and reserved space for integrated battery systems. Construction partners are being finalized for pilot deployments in 2026.

Grid Resiliency and Reliability

The infrastructure combines battery energy storage with grid-forming controls to maintain stability during low-voltage ride-through (LVRT), smooth AI-driven load swings, and enable future medium-voltage UPS capability.

Operations and Market Readiness

Greenflash manages dispatch, telemetry, and compliance reporting through an integrated operations platform. The architecture is bench-tested against ERCOT telemetry and settlement requirements for immediate market qualification once sites come online.

Unified Delivery Model

Greenflash offers a single-contract structure covering design, construction coordination, and operational readiness. This unified model shortens project timelines by eliminating redundant permitting and vendor interfaces.

Early participants gain access to standardized interconnection templates and operational protocols under ERCOT review, reducing permitting risk and accelerating market entry for 2026-era data centers.

As ERCOT reliability standards evolve, Texas developers are rapidly adapting their designs to integrate on-site energy storage and advanced controls. Greenflash’s standardized, energy-integrated infrastructure provides a practical path to SB6 compliance and operational readiness from day one.

“Data centers are becoming part of the grid itself,” said Ben Yang, Chief Technology Officer of Greenflash. “We’ve built a framework that makes grid compliance straightforward and scalable. Those who align early will set the standard for what ERCOT-ready design looks like.”

Greenflash is actively engaging with developers entering design in 2025 to align on SB6-compliant, market-ready infrastructure.
