They dashed and sweated on the “Rainbow Track,” showcasing the summer’s excitement and vitality through speed. The enthusiastic citizens gathered along the track, cheering and waving their arms, igniting the entire city with the event and further promoting the tourism brand of “Yishui welcomes you with its beautiful scenery not far away.”
The participants expressed their views, saying, “Sports make us healthier, more confident, and full of vitality.” The hosting of this event is a vivid reflection of Yishui County’s efforts to promote nationwide fitness as a key component of the mass fitness campaign.

In the early morning of Yishui, numerous people gather at street-corner sports fields, community sports grounds, playing basketball, dancing, practicing the Eight Section Brocade (a traditional Chinese exercise routine), and using fitness equipment. Everyone is full of energy and vitality, freely showcasing their skills during exercise, painting a vibrant picture of nationwide fitness.
With a focus on solving the problem of “where to exercise” for the masses, Yishui County regards the construction of fitness facilities as the starting point and breakthrough of the nationwide fitness campaign. By combining morning and evening exercise route planning and upgrading existing facilities, it aims to create comprehensive athletic venues as fitness destinations and accelerate the construction of comprehensive sports stadiums. It also strategically builds street-corner sports fields as nodes, utilizing available spaces to meet local needs. Additionally, it supplements with neighborhood spaces and community fitness equipment, actively promoting the integration of fitness equipment into communities and residential areas, and striving to create a 15-minute fitness circle.
In Xicheng, the Xicheng Nationwide Fitness Center, covering a construction area of 39,000 square meters with a planned total investment of 330 million yuan, will be completed and put into use in June. The newly constructed comprehensive sports stadium in Xicheng Park, part of the Xicheng Capital West Park project, which includes various sports fields, fitness trails, and a children’s playground, has already begun. Yishui County continues to unveil new sports landmarks and spaces, attracting more and more citizens to join the fitness ranks.
