COLUMBIA, SC / ACCESSWIRE / September 1, 2021 / Whether online or in the real world, there's no simple way to verify who you are or who you claim to be other than your driver's license. By having to give that document out, sometimes you are revealing all your personal identity information (PII) when it isn't necessary.
Imagine a solution where restaurants, bars, stadiums, banks, governments, employers, hospitals, and others all have an accurate way to verify your identity and you don't have to worry about who is looking over your shoulder. Your personal information that isn't needed is safe and secure and the information that you do need is at your fingertips.
Validide.com is a startup community working to develop personal identity protection services, such as an identity wallet system. The company aims to transform personal credentials + assets into verifiable credentials (think similar to bitcoin) that individuals could protect and share as necessary.
The ValidIDe Project is, in fact,, currently developing an application that you and the person asking for information can both place your full trust in because you know that, once the information is validated, it is impossible to hack and alter it.
Advisors Eloisa Marchesoni, top Tokenomics expert, and Giacomo Arcaro top growth hacker, have been and still are doing their best to ensure the fast realization of such a plan.
Moreover, now that the COVID Vaccine is a reality and soon to be dispensed, all venues from restaurants to football stadiums are going to be asking everyone to verify their immunity to the Coronavirus. ValidIDe should be able to verify the credentials of member's immunizations so they may illustrate them to requesters as they wish under the member's absolute control.
The ValidIDe team, thanks to the help of Eloisa Marchesoni and Giacomo Arcaro, have been working with the Trust Over Internet Protocol (ToIP) Foundation on both a new Identity Layer for the whole Internet (which was never created to secure identity when on the internet) and the Good Health Pass (GHP) international collaborative developing the standards for presenting COVID status credentials without sharing personal identity information (PII) to the receiver which would be an employer, airline, country border control, even coffee shop owner. While the state of South Carolina has said that no business can require employees to get the vaccine nor have to wear a mask, the rest of the world is moving in that direction.
Validide will be one of the first wallets in the world to adopt both the VoIP and the GHP standards enabling our customers who are vaccinated or recently tested to present their credentials without releasing their personal information.
It is no coincidence that the ValidIDe Project has just recently received SCRA funding in Columbia, SC, being awarded a significant part of the total $212,500 grant.
