New York, NY, USA - November 17, 2025 - Acclaimed singer, composer, songwriter, educator, Lisa Hogan recently premiered her latest song cycle at Greenwich House Music School in 2025, featuring texts by the celebrated poet Robert Creeley. This performance marks her most recent release and is available soon as an audio recording.
“I’m thrilled to share this new song cycle, which brings together my love of poetry and music,” says Hogan. “These works reflect my journey as a composer and performer, blending classical techniques with contemporary sensibilities.”
In addition to her groundbreaking contemporary works, Hogan is currently developing a new pop record and a piece for string orchestra in collaboration with a New York-based producer and NYU professor. Known for her eclectic style that spans contemporary classical, jazz, pop, and musical theatre, Hogan’s compositions feature lyrical melodies, unexpected harmonies, and expressive rhythms.

Over her distinguished career, Hogan’s work has been performed nationally and internationally, with works featured in venues such as Greenwich House Music School, the Juilliard School, and various music festivals. She has collaborated with prominent musicians, composers, and ensembles across genres, and her music has been performed in concerts, theatrical productions, films, and podcasts.
An experienced educator, Hogan has taught music, voice, composition, and songwriting at the State University of New Jersey, and the City University of New York and in her private studio in New York City. She is also active as a musical director, producer, and performer in both live and recording settings.
Hogan has released two full-length albums, 24-16-8 and The Other Way, and her work has earned accolades including the EAR Competition, the Decimus Ut Serviamus Music Award, the Queens College Student Association Award for Excellence, and recognition from ASCAP.
