NLH and PLO Mystery Bounty tournaments resume as Venom Fever reaches 853 seats
-- Americas Cardroom moves its $15 million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms into Day 1D today at 12:05 p.m. ET. The parallel $2,650 tournaments guarantee $12 million in No-Limit Hold'em and $3 million in Pot-Limit Omaha.
Across the first three flights, the NLH event recorded 1,526 entries and sent 184 players to Day 2. PLO drew 418 entries, with 51 players advancing. All Day 2 players will be in the money when the Mystery Bounty phase begins.
Day 1B set the current turnout high with 1,105 NLH entries and 238 PLO entries. Players may still qualify or combine additional qualifying stacks for Day 2.
eko4gg leads NLH with 8,542,202 chips, equal to 213 big blinds. Winkyface1984 tops PLO with 17,037,699 chips, or 608 big blinds.
The NLH tournament offers a $500,000 top Mystery Bounty, while PLO has a $250,000 top bounty. Each successful Day 2 knockout has a minimum $5,000 Mystery Bounty in both events.
Venom Fever has awarded 853 seats valued at $2,650 each and guarantees more than 1,500 seats by August 30. Routes include satellites, Beast tournaments, Venom Madness, Survivor Flips and Spin to Get In, with some starting at $0.
Venom Specials offer 91 additional events and $10.16 million guaranteed. The first 15 tournaments on Monday, August 17 had $860,000 guaranteed, and ended with $1.125 million in prize pools.
Four flights remain after Day 1D on August 23, 24, 27 and 30 across the paired schedule. Day 2 starts August 31, with both final tables scheduled for September 2.
