-- Elah, from the team behind Blessed, a Bible app with more than 10 million users, today announced the North American launch of Elah Ring S1. Available now for $249 at ElahRing.com, the world’s first faith-centered Christian smart ring combines health tracking with quiet prayer reminders.
Elah Ring S1 uses its Cross-Light and gentle vibration to invite users to pause, reflect, or pray without reaching for a phone. By pairing health insights with low-distraction faith routines, the ring offers a more intentional way to support daily wellbeing and spiritual life. Visit ElahRing.com now to order!
“The moments you need support the most are often the moments you never think of doing that,” said Ricky Xia, founder of Elah and Blessed. “Elah Ring isn’t asking for your attention. It uses subtle vibration and Cross Light to invite our users into prayer, without forcing them to look at a phone screen.”
To establish a daily prayer habit, Elah Ring S1 gently invites you to pause without unlocking your smartphone.
Key features include:
Major Health Signal Tracking: Heart rate, HRV, sleep, stress, activity, body temperature, and blood oxygen (SpO₂).
Anchor: Users set prayer or devotional times in the Elah App. When the time comes, the ring vibrates or lights up its Cross Light. Up to five Anchors can be stored on the ring and work without a phone nearby.
Proactive Spiritual Support: Elah Ring S1 can recognize changes in biometric signals that may be associated with stress and, when a user’s heart rate crosses a set threshold, offer a subtle Cross-Light and haptic cue. Rather than interrupting with a screen notification, it invites the user to pause. They can then choose to open the Elah App for prayer, journaling, reflection, or FaithMate companionship. FaithMate can also listen to a user’s voice and pray with them.
The Whole Person Reports: The Elah App brings together Body, including physical data; Anchor, including daily faith routines; and Spirit, including emotional and spiritual reflection. These combined insights help users see patterns across their health, habits, and spiritual life in one place.
Design: Elah Ring S1 features a lightweight Grade 5 titanium exterior, medical-grade epoxy resin interior, IP68 water resistance, and approximately 4–6 days of battery life. It comes in Rose Gold, Matte Black, Dawn Gold, and Clear Silver, with U.S. sizes 7–13 and iOS and Android compatibility.
Membership: Core features are included with the purchase of Elah Ring S1, with no subscription required. An optional Elah Plus membership ($5.99/month) adds detailed personalization and AI-powered features.
The Story Behind Elah
Fourteen years ago, Ricky Xia arrived in the United States with non-fluent English, and everything was new to him.
A group of strangers took him to buy furniture and let Xia stay in their home. They also drove Xia to school every day. Xia felt weird because they asked for nothing in return. Xia learned they were all Christians later.
“Before I understood any of it, He was already there,” said Xia.
Years later, that experience became the idea behind the creation of Blessed. The team believed technology could serve people in their everyday faith. Today, Blessed has more than 10 million users.
Building Blessed revealed the limits of software. People rarely use software in stressful situations or when their hands are full. The team then wanted to build a technology that reaches you first. That idea became Elah Ring.
The name “Elah” comes from the Valley of Elah, where David faced Goliath. David had no confidence in the outcome, but he knew God was already with him. Today, we are all facing our own valley. It could be a difficult meeting, a diagnosis, or just something keeping you awake at 3 a.m., and Elah Ring is built for those moments. Elah’s vision is that no one faces their valley alone.
Elah Ring S1 is available now at ElahRing.com for $249, with a free sizing kit. It is only sold in the U.S., and shipping is free for U.S. users.
