On March 7, 2025, Profound announced it had “identified an error which overstated revenue by $472,000 in the first quarter of 2024”, and that the error also impacted year-to-date total revenue figures for the second and third quarters of 2024 included in the Company’s previously released unaudited consolidated financial statements for those fiscal quarters.  As a result, Profound stated, the impacted financial statements should no longer be relied upon and would require restatement. 

On this news, Profound’s stock price dropped $0.43, or 5.9%, to close at $6.86 per share on March 7, 2025.
