Recently, the race organizing committee unveiled the event's promotional film,To Beloved Tour of Taihu Lake.Framed as a heartfelt “love letter through time,” the film captures the spirit and memories of the race while extending a warm autumn invitation to cycling fans and spectators everywhere.
The opening leg takes place in Jiangning, Nanjing, with the race circuit laid out in Jiangsu Garden Expo Park. Short climbs and tight bends woven among the gardens bring both competitive challenges and striking visual features, launching the race into a rhythm of “scenic‑infused racing” right from the start.
The Changxing stage in Zhejiang centers on Taihu No. 9 Highway. The scenic Love Post Office slips into the frame, striking a subtle echo with the film title“A Love Letter”.
The Wujiang circuit in Suzhou runs along the East Taihu Embankment, close to cultural‑tourism landmarks such as Suzhou Bay. It offers a vivid visual interpretation of the tagline “Travel with the Race”.
In Qidong, Nantong, riders speed along coastal levees, embodying the city’s pioneering spirit in every all‑out sprint.
In Binhu, Wuxi, the ragrant Embankment and glistening waters of Lihu Lake glow against the lights of Nianhua Bay. As both the starting point and a homecoming for the event, it brings the promotional video to a full emotional close.
The 2026 race will take place from September 12 to 16, featuring five stages in Jiangning, Nanjing; Changxing, Zhejiang; Wujiang, Suzhou; Qidong, Nantong; and Binhu, Wuxi. A total of 22 professional teams and 154 riders from more than 20 countries and regions around the world will compete in this year's race.
