INTCO Medical Expands Non-Latex Glove Portfolio Amid Growing Shift Toward Synthetic Materials

By: Get News

As global healthcare and industrial protection markets undergo structural transformation, volatility in natural rubber supply, concerns over latex allergies, and increasingly stringent sustainability regulations are reshaping material choices within the disposable glove industry. Synthetic materials are emerging as a strategic alternative in global procurement systems.

Against this backdrop, INTCO Medical has expanded its synthetic glove portfolio with the introduction of Syntex™ Synthetic Latex Gloves and Synmax Pro Gloves, designed to address safety, stability, and compliance requirements across healthcare, food processing, and industrial manufacturing applications.

The Syntex™ series features a sulfur-free formulation and contains no natural rubber latex proteins, aiming to reduce latex-related allergy risks. The product has passed EN455 and EN374 testing and complies with U.S. FDA and EU CE standards. According to laboratory testing data, Syntex™ achieves an average elongation at break of up to 650%, meeting the ASTM D6319 medical glove standard, while maintaining a soft tactile feel alongside stable puncture and chemical resistance performance.

As regulatory scrutiny intensifies globally, traceability of raw materials has become an increasingly important issue. Because Syntex™ does not rely on natural rubber sources, it may help reduce compliance pressure associated with the European Union’s Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR), while offering global buyers a more predictable supply structure.

Meanwhile, the Synmax Pro series emphasizes enhanced abrasion resistance and operational durability. Based on laboratory testing data, Synmax Pro delivers elongation at break exceeding 400%, and its abrasion resistance is approximately ten times that of conventional nitrile gloves under specified testing conditions. In high-frequency usage environments, these properties may help reduce replacement frequency and improve workflow continuity. The product is suitable for medical examinations, food processing, and industrial operations. A multi-color design also supports identification and management needs across different work zones.

Mr. Fangyi Liu, Chairman of INTCO Medical, commented: “Amid ongoing adjustments in global supply chain structures, material innovation is not only about performance, but also about compliance capability and supply chain resilience. Through continued technological development, we aim to provide global partners with more adaptive and durable protective solutions.”

With more than 30 years of experience in the protective glove industry, INTCO Medical has built an integrated system covering research and development, manufacturing, and global distribution, and continues to expand its technological and scale advantages in the non-latex glove segment.
