About the Author

Ann was born and raised in a small rural community called Milford, Delaware. At the age of 4 was given the nickname of Annie-Bug by an uncle and the name has stuck ever since. All of her grown nephews, nieces, cousins and most friends call her Annie-Bug.

Ann graduated from Milford, High School in 1965. She received her AA degree from Wesley College and then attended New York University where she earned a B.S Degree in Physical Therapy. She practiced in various hospitals, clinics, school districts and home care in Massachusetts, New York and Arizona. Eventually she focused her practice specializing in pediatrics. She and her business partners formed Pueblo Rehabilitation Services. Ann retired in 2014.

Ann has always wanted to write a children’s book. That desire came to the forefront when her grandson ESP, was born. He was adopted by her son and his wife. She could not find any books on adoption that really spoke to her and decided to write one herself. The idea came to her to do it entirely from the baby’s perspective and to make it interactive.
