iSpiice Volunteering in India

California - June 6, 2023 - iSpiice Volunteering in India, a non-political, non-religious volunteer organization based in India, is making a significant impact on the lives of rural communities. Since its establishment in 2008, iSpiice has been providing combined volunteer programs to people from all corners of the world.

The organization's founder, Varun Verma, was inspired to establish iSpiice after returning to his native villages and discovering little progress in more than a decade. He developed specific educational, well-being, and community programs to assist the villages in North India.

iSpiice aims to address inequalities in the provision of education and healthcare in rural India and to tackle gender discrimination through empowerment. The organization takes a holistic approach to community development by involving different affected groups, including women, children, parents, local staff, and community members, in program development.

iSpiice offers volunteers the chance to experience life in rural India, which would otherwise be inaccessible, and to act as a platform for meaningful cultural exchange. The volunteer abroad programs are unique, and they offer volunteers extraordinary excursions during weekend free time to complete their volunteer trips to India.

Some of their programs are teaching English to children, women’s empowerment, mini-break, street children programs, community development, child care volunteer programs, health education, renovation tuition, and many more.

The projects are designed to generate access and growth opportunities for communities in need, and volunteer assistance is necessary to facilitate these projects. The dedication, enthusiasm, and range of talents and abilities volunteers bring are key to the program’s success.

"We endeavor to directly contribute to the sustainable development of rural Indian communities and to provide our volunteers with meaningful and socially responsible opportunities for travel, service, and cultural exchange," said Varun Verma, the founder of iSpiice. "We are always ready to assist the local community in practical ways and aim to be flexible in the support we offer to meet specific needs within the community."

iSpiice's mission is to make a real impact on rural Indian communities and to provide volunteers with meaningful and socially responsible opportunities for travel, service, and cultural exchange.
