Andrew Walshe and Chris Davy join Stellex Resource Group to support growth and value creation across portfolio companies

Stellex Capital Management (“Stellex”), a New York-based private equity firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Walshe as Finance Transformation Leader and Chris Davy as Commercial Transformation Leader within Stellex Resource Group (“SRG”), the firm's portfolio operations team. The appointments are intended to strengthen Stellex's operational capabilities and enhance the firm's ability to partner with management teams in an effort to accelerate performance and build more scalable businesses across its portfolio.

"Stellex’s investment strategy is rooted in hands-on, operational value creation," said Michael Stewart, Managing Partner at Stellex. "We believe Andrew and Chris bring complementary expertise in finance transformation and commercial growth that should deepen our ability to help portfolio companies scale. Their experience leading complex transformations in private equity-backed businesses makes them valuable additions to SRG."

Mr. Walshe joins Stellex from Strategic Value Partners, where he served as an Operating Partner focused on finance transformation and value creation. Prior to Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Walshe held portfolio operations leadership roles at Sightway Capital, a Two Sigma company, and Marlin Equity Partners, and began his career in the transaction advisory practices at PwC and Alvarez & Marsal. At Stellex, his mandate is to partner with portfolio company finance teams to strengthen finance functions, enhance financial planning and reporting and support strategic transactions and operational improvements across the firm's portfolio.

Working alongside portfolio company leadership teams, Mr. Davy is expected to focus on organic growth through commercial strategy, go-to-market optimization and sales effectiveness initiatives. He brings more than 20 years of experience helping private equity-backed companies drive commercial performance and execute growth strategies. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Commercial Growth at The Riverside Company, where he led commercial value creation initiatives across the firm's portfolio. Before joining Riverside, Mr. Davy was a Managing Director at SBI, advising companies on commercial strategy and revenue growth. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at US Pack Logistics, co-founded and led a business and held multiple senior leadership positions at DHL.

These appointments expand SRG's capabilities in two disciplines that are central to the firm's boots-on-the-ground investment approach: finance transformation and commercial growth. By embedding experienced operators alongside management teams, Stellex aims to help portfolio companies build more scalable businesses throughout the investment lifecycle.
