Former Pinterest, Roku and Rocket Fuel engineering leader brings a track record of building advertising technology across connected TV, programmatic, and AI-driven advertising

LG Ad Solutions, a global leader in connected TV (CTV) advertising, today announced that Abhijit Pol has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering. Pol will oversee the development of advertising technology and solutions that help brands and agencies connect with audiences and achieve measurable business outcomes. He reports to CEO Michael Hudes.

The appointment reflects LG Ad Solutions’ continued investment in product and technology innovation as advertisers seek greater accountability from their media budgets. Pol’s priorities include advancing the company’s advertising platform, improving campaign effectiveness and measurement, simplifying advertiser workflows and applying AI where it creates value for advertisers and partners.

"Product and technology innovation are central to our business and our ability to deliver for advertisers," said Michael Hudes, CEO of LG Ad Solutions. "Abhijit brings an exceptional combination of technical expertise, product thinking and experience building advertising platforms at scale. Just as importantly, he understands how to translate advertiser needs into product innovation and bring new capabilities to market. I'm excited to have him leading Product and Engineering as we expand what's possible for advertisers.”

Pol joined Roku before the company had established an advertising business, helping build its first advertising technology and data platforms. He went on to lead engineering teams across machine learning, measurement, addressable advertising and audience intelligence as Roku’s CTV advertising business grew.

Most recently, as Head of Monetization Engineering at Pinterest, Pol led engineering organizations responsible for advertising platforms, marketplace technology and measurement capabilities, using AI and data to improve advertising effectiveness. Earlier in his career, he was a founding engineer at Rocket Fuel, helping advance the application of machine learning, automated decisioning and real-time optimization to programmatic advertising.

"I’ve had the opportunity to shape several major developments in advertising technology, from the early evolution of programmatic and machine learning to helping establish connected TV advertising and advancing AI-driven advertising and measurement," said Abhijit Pol, Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering at LG Ad Solutions. "LG Ad Solutions gives me the opportunity to bring these experiences together. The true global scale of the LG Smart TV ecosystem provides a powerful foundation. I’m excited to work with the talented teams here to build our products and platforms, solve meaningful customer problems and deliver measurable outcomes for advertisers."
