Six new honorees boost firm’s presence to 16 on annual legal guide

Sixteen Hicks Thomas LLP attorneys, including six first-time honorees, have been selected to the 2027 edition of Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America, one of the company’s flagship legal guides.

Lawdragon says its Leading Litigators honorees work primarily in antitrust, securities, financial, product liability, mass tort, intellectual property, white collar, cybersecurity and real estate cases and "excel at the art of advocacy before juries, judges and other decision makers on behalf of their clients."

“We are pleased to add new names to our presence on this Lawdragon list,” said Hicks Thomas partner John B. Thomas. “I am proud of this group of lawyers and the many different practice areas in which they excel. It is a testament to our commitment to our clients and helping them navigate whatever legal dispute they face.”

Mr. Thomas was one of the 10 firm partners earning repeat recognition for excellence in commercial litigation. The others were J. Stephen Barrick, John Deis, Courtney E. Ervin, Robin L. Harrison, Stewart Hoffer, Gregg Laswell, Stephen M. Loftin, Paul L. Mitchell and Allen Rustay.

New to the Leading Litigators list are Katherine Kunz, who was recognized for commercial litigation and energy litigation; Bridget B. Vick and M. Katherine Strahan, both for healthcare litigation; John B. Shely for commercial and healthcare litigation; Brian C. Pidcock for commercial and energy litigation; and Cameron P. Pope for appellate, energy litigation and managed care.

Lawdragon selects the Leading Litigators list through nominations, staff research and professional accomplishments.
