Voting opens today and runs through October 17 at voteforyourschool.com; three community-chosen schools will win cash prizes, presented in person and announced live in early November

LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESS Newswire / September 8, 2026 / Shook & Stone, a Las Vegas personal injury, workers' compensation, and Social Security disability law firm, today launched its inaugural "Vote for Your School" contest - a community giveaway awarding $10,000 in cash prizes to three local schools chosen by public vote. Starting today, anyone can vote for their favorite Las Vegas-area elementary, middle, or high school at voteforyourschool.com, or by scanning the QR code on Vote for Your School flyers appearing across the valley. Voting runs through October 17, 2026.

Every public, private, and charter school in the Las Vegas area is eligible. The three schools with the most votes will win cash prizes: $6,000 for first place, $2,500 for second place, and $1,500 for third place, to put toward students, classrooms, and programs. Voting is free, and residents can vote once per day, so families are encouraged to rally friends and neighbors behind their school.

Voting closes October 17, and the three winning schools will be announced in early November. Shook & Stone will present each winning school with an oversized check at an on-campus celebration, and share the announcements live on the firm's Facebook page. Members of the media are invited to attend the in-person presentations; details and dates will follow closer to the announcement.
