New site invites tech whistle blowers, stands up for art and raises 1984-like awareness
NASHVILLE, TN / ACCESS Newswire / April 6, 2026 / 20-year advertising executive and 10x award-winning investigative reporter, Amanda Palasciano, has launched a counter-attack on artificial intelligence...by leveraging real intelligence. SiliconSallie.com and ShopSiliconSallie.com, launched this week, looks to raise awareness on the dangers of AI, the nefarious U.S. surveillance goal, seed-funding dollars and administration ties as well as to give back to those fighting data center development and unchecked tech expansion.
Aptly named, SiliconSallie, a grassroots portal that allows anonymous voices in tech and former tech to expose what's going on behind closed doors, recently launched with a single highly-citated blog post that kicks a lot of Silicon Valley beehives. Aimed at exposing AdTech and Big Tech and the impact it incrementally conditioned the public to have; the site draws on comparisons from early ad manipulation under Edward Bernays, dating back 100+ years. The blog post also calls out the recent Pentagon contracts for military AI, domestic surveillance, Epstein ties and questionable administration hires.
In addition to the blog, "Sallie" (who describes herself as a Dear Abby meets Gossip Girl meets DeuxMoi with an Edward Snowden twist), extends an open invitation to those in tech to voice concerns without fear.
There is also a store of counter-AI and anti-billionaire merch where people can support the art and tens of thousands of artists already put of out of work for what Sallie claims is the "grift that keeps on giving."
Founder Amanda Palasciano states, "Over the past 3 years, we have seen a bloodbath in the creative industry for something that used to be called piracy. Instead, it's now a very gaslit way of thinking that Frankenstein-ed and amalgamated works done by others is free reign. When I began digging (and I also having some 20+ year old personal ties to people at the helm), I found this long-game con to be completely unsustainable for the planet, a Trojan Horse for surveillance state and a hot potato game of funds that really don't exist. All at the expense of humans. I have already had numerous "tech bros" write to me exposing the contradictory things they are seeing behind the scenes and somehow, we have conditioned everyone to be in fear of stating that humans shouldn't be losing jobs to machines. This Is everything from Orwell to Bradbury. Human life shouldn't be treated like Science Fiction."
Palasciano has allegedly already faced a ton of ad blockage and suppression on big tech apps trying to get her message out but says she is not stopping.
"I live in one of the best and loudest cities in this country. I will IRL this campaign on Broadway [Nashville] if I have to. People marketed pre-internet (peak Earth 90s) just fine. We will street team. We will raise awareness. We will make it known that most of the public hates this and there was zero consent for it. All of this happening so that ten men can build bigger bunkers is not okay. Thirty-thousand laid off employees at Oracle in a single day by a single email, is not okay. None of this is okay. And I will double down."
