GESOLAR Cyprus Ltd, a renewable energy installer trading from a Latsia base since 2011, has introduced an enhanced service framework covering all six of its installation lines, formalising a set of upgrades to survey, commissioning, and aftercare procedures for residential and commercial customers. The framework takes effect on all new projects from 1 September 2026.
The updated framework applies across the company's full installation range: photovoltaic systems, energy storage batteries, electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps, underfloor heating, and electric radiators. Rather than treating each line as a standalone product, the enhanced approach introduces a single integrated survey stage that considers how the six services interact within a given property, along with a standardised documentation and aftercare package attached to every completed installation.
Three practical changes sit at the centre of the framework. The first is an integrated whole-property survey, in which the initial site visit examines not only the immediate service requested but also how future additions across the six lines would be accommodated. Cable routing for a photovoltaic array now includes provision for a battery inverter and future electric vehicle charging point where relevant. Heat pump surveys account for how existing or planned solar generation would offset compressor loads during daytime tariff peaks. The intention is to spare customers the disruption of running new cabling for each subsequent upgrade.
The second change involves a standardised commissioning documentation pack, handed to every customer at project sign-off. The pack includes system schematics, manufacturer warranty registrations, wiring diagrams, meter and inverter serial numbers, and a written maintenance schedule. Where a property is sold, the pack transfers with the installation and gives the incoming owner a documented record of the system's specification and service history.
The third change is a formal aftercare review schedule. New customers now receive a six-month post-installation review call, at which system performance data is compared with modelled expectations, and a twenty-four-month site visit at which physical inspection, firmware updates, and any warranty administration are handled together. The reviews sit inside the standard project price rather than as an add-on service.
"Households and businesses across the island have been buying separate installations from separate contractors for years, with separate warranty envelopes, separate paperwork, and separate people to chase when something needs attention," said Eleni Stavrinidou, director of GESOLAR Cyprus Ltd. "The enhanced framework brings all of that under a single documented process. Customers get a whole-property view at the survey stage, a proper record of what has been fitted, and a defined aftercare schedule that continues past commissioning. Fifteen years of trading suggested it was time to formalise a way of working that had grown up piecemeal."
The framework builds on operational features already present in the business rather than introducing new commitments the company would need to expand headcount to deliver. GESOLAR employs a directly hired team of fifteen, including engineers, electricians, and specialised technicians, all of whom work on installations from initial survey through commissioning and warranty attendance. Subcontracting is not part of the operating model, which allows the same personnel to attend a follow-up call two years after handover.
Certification to ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental practice, and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety underpins the enhanced framework. Each of the three procedures has been documented under the existing quality management system and will be subject to the same annual external audit cycle that already covers the company's operations. Waste segregation, permit-to-work procedures, and installation-quality checks continue to run under the same audited standards.
The six service lines covered by the framework address different aspects of the domestic and commercial energy picture in Cyprus. Photovoltaic systems generate electricity on-site. Batteries store daytime generation for evening use, which has grown in relevance since net billing replaced net metering on 1 January 2026. Electric vehicle chargers cover home wall units, workplace stations, and multi-bay commercial installations. Heat pumps handle winter warming, summer cooling, and hot water on a single unit. Underfloor heating delivers low-temperature warmth beneath tile, timber, or screed floors. Electric radiators serve rooms or properties where a full central heating retrofit is not practical.
The enhanced framework applies across the company's full service area, which extends within a 100-kilometre radius of the Latsia workshop and covers Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, and the government-controlled area of Famagusta district. Commercial customers, including hotels, offices, and agricultural buildings, receive the same integrated survey and documentation treatment as residential properties, adapted for three-phase supplies and larger inverter banks.
GESOLAR Cyprus Ltd was founded in July 2011 and operates from 171 Yiannou Kiranidioti, Latsia. The company designs, supplies, and installs photovoltaic systems, energy storage, EV chargers, heat pumps, underfloor heating, and electric radiators for residential and commercial customers across the Republic of Cyprus. Directors are Constantinos Stavrinides, Eleni Stavrinidou, and Anastasios Tsampalis. Andriani Stavrinidou serves as the company secretary.
