The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is participating in Virtuoso Travel Week 2026, taking place August 8–14 in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of its continued strategy to position South Korea as a premier destination for luxury and experiential travel. The event brings together approximately 4,000 leading luxury travel professionals, including travel advisors, agency executives and preferred partners, for one-on-one appointments, professional development and relationship building.

KTO’s delegation is led by Insook Lee, executive director for the Americas, joined by Patrice Henry, senior marketing manager, Korea Tourism Organization New York Office, and Hyojung (Rachel) Lee, marketing coordinator, Korea Tourism Organization Los Angeles Office. Throughout Virtuoso Travel Week, the delegation is meeting with leading travel advisors and industry partners to strengthen relationships, develop new partnerships and increase awareness of Korea’s expanding luxury tourism offerings.

KTO’s participation builds on the momentum of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Korea Tourism Organization and Virtuoso to promote Korea as a premier luxury travel destination, as well as the successful 2026 Virtuoso Symposium hosted in Seoul, April 15–19. The Symposium welcomed approximately 360 executives from Virtuoso member agencies and preferred partners from around the world and immersed attendees in Korea’s heritage, cuisine, contemporary culture, design and hospitality.

“Korea is exceptionally well positioned for today’s luxury traveler, who values authenticity and meaningful experiences,” said Insook Lee, executive director for the Americas, Korea Tourism Organization. “Through our partnership with Virtuoso, we are showcasing Korea’s exceptional hospitality, cuisine, wellness and culture while inspiring advisors to create highly personalized journeys for their clients.”

Korea’s luxury tourism offering extends far beyond its internationally recognized cultural attractions. Travelers can combine world-class hotels and Michelin-recognized dining with private culinary experiences, traditional Hanok stays, premium wellness and K-beauty programs, exclusive art and cultural experiences, designer shopping and customized journeys throughout the country.

Seoul blends centuries-old heritage with contemporary luxury, while destinations such as Busan, Jeju, Gyeongju and Andong offer distinctive experiences in cuisine, wellness, nature and culture. Through Virtuoso Travel Week and its continued collaboration with the luxury travel community, KTO aims to expand premium itineraries and inspire more travelers to discover Korea’s sophisticated and culturally rich experiences.
