Phoenix Energy CEO Adam Ferrari Launches 2026 Scholarship Program to Support the Next Generation of Energy Leaders

Application Period Opens February 3, 2026

Adam Ferrari, CEO of Phoenix Energy, today announced the opening of the 2026 Phoenix Energy Scholarship, a $15,000 academic award created to support exceptional students pursuing careers in the oil and gas industry. The scholarship reflects Phoenix Energy’s ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders in petroleum engineering and related energy fields.

Now entering its fourth year, the Phoenix Energy Scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates academic excellence, technical promise, and a deep interest in advancing the future of the U.S. energy sector. To be eligible, applicants must be students who will begin their first year of full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university in the fall of 2026 and be pursuing a degree aligned with a career in the oil and gas industry. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Applications will be accepted beginning February 3, 2026, at www.phoenixenergyscholarship.com.

“As an engineer myself, I understand the value of technical education—and the importance of investing in young minds with the drive and ability to make an impact,” said Adam Ferrari, CEO of Phoenix Energy. “This scholarship is part of our broader mission to support the future of American energy, one student at a time.”

The 2025 scholarship recipient, Brody Patton, is currently a student at Texas Tech University. Patton reflected on the significance of the award, saying:

“Phoenix Energy’s scholarship is not just an investment in me but is also an act of faith in the future,” Patton said. “Through their generous support, I will be able to join others at Texas Tech University in obtaining a quality education, mentorship, and experience that will position me to make a real and lasting difference. I aspire to not only improve how we extract and use energy but also help shape the future of an industry. I am deeply grateful to Phoenix Energy for this honor.”

To be considered, applicants must submit a 2,000–3,000-word original essay outlining their career goals and motivation for entering the oil and gas industry. All essays will be reviewed for authenticity and originality. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate or meaningfully shape essay content is not permitted. Essays must be submitted before the application deadline on June 30, 2026.

Finalists will be selected by July 31, 2026, and invited to participate in virtual interviews with the Scholarship Committee from August 13 to August 21, 2026. The scholarship recipient will be officially announced on September 1, 2026, and funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient’s college or university to be applied toward tuition.

The ultimate goal of the Phoenix Energy Scholarship is to support students pursuing impactful careers within the oil and gas industry.
