High Value. Low Price.® (HVLP) Gym Elevates Member Experience with New Locations, New Amenities and Nationwide Community Impact
EoS Fitness closed out a powerful second quarter, surpassing 1.5 million members, launching new amenities and rallying together communities nationwide to make a positive impact.
“The results we saw in Q2 are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the entire EoS team,” said Rich Drengberg, chief executive officer, EoS Fitness. “We’re scaling with purpose and ensuring long-term value by expanding access to an elevated fitness experience, investing in innovation and reinforcing our commitment to the communities we serve. EoS is building for the future with the same passion and focus that got us to this point, powered by a team determined to be the best.”
Growing Access to Premium Fitness Facilities
EoS Fitness continued its strategic expansion into new and existing markets, driven by a purpose to create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. EoS surpassed 1.5 million members early in the quarter. It took nearly 10 years to reach 1 million, but with accelerated growth, it took less than two years to gain the next 500,000 members. To show appreciation to the hardworking achievers who chose EoS, the company gave away 1.5 million free personal training sessions valued at approximately $60 million, reinforcing its commitment to each member's health and fitness journey.
“Every number represents a person whose life has been impacted by fitness, and that’s what motivates our team,” said Richard Idgar, chief operating officer, EoS Fitness. “Behind every milestone lies a strategy, and more importantly, disciplined execution and the tireless effort of EoS team members. In Q2, we scaled intentionally, opening 10 new gyms and reinvesting nearly $4.3 million in our existing locations to maintain the high standards our members expect. Focusing on consistency, quality and efficiency is how we turn bold goals into everyday wins.”
EoS signed 11 new leases and opened the following state-of-the-art facilities during the quarter, bringing a blend of high-end strength training and cardio equipment, innovative recovery options, signature amenities and cutting-edge programming to new markets and communities:
- 701 NE Loop 820, Hurst, Texas
- 11275 E. Vía Linda, Scottsdale, Arizona
- 5165 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida
- 2814 W. Bell Road, Suite 1430, Phoenix, Arizona
- 3854 Belt Line Road, Addison, Texas
- 21707 Village Lakes Shopping Center Drive, Land O’Lakes, Florida

Diversifying Programming
EoS introduced its newest amenity, Contender’s Corner, in the second quarter at select locations. Contender’s Corner challenges members’ strength training, cardio, agility and endurance through five different types of boxing events in a high-energy group setting. These events include Ultimate Heavy Bag, Knockout Strength, Champ Conditioning, The Main Event and Skills and Drills.
The EoS Assisted Stretch Program, which offers members expert help to move with less pain, lower stress levels and speed up recovery, expanded nationwide, opening in 11 more gyms.
Collaboration for a Cause
EoS members and team members came together to make a difference far beyond the gym floor. From raising $75,000 for Nevada-based nonprofit Project 150’s scholarship program to awarding 118 membership grants so far this year to Challenged Athletes Foundation athletes and celebrating a year of partnership with the American Diabetes Association®, EoS reaffirmed its role as a fitness brand with a heart. Since announcing its support of the ADA, the EoS community has donated nearly $150,000 to help prevent and cure diabetes and improve the lives of those impacted by it.
In June, the company gifted a fully accessible fitness space to The Opportunity Tree, one of Arizona's largest and oldest nonprofits supporting people with intellectual disabilities. Named after the organization’s Special Olympics team, the Fireslammers Fitness Center features state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment, free weights and cross-training machines, providing The Opportunity Tree’s 250 members a place to train year-round. EoS managed construction, equipment and installations for the $200,000 project.
